“Have You Ever Dealt with a Performance Issue Involving a Family Member in a Business?”
Session Overview:
Performance issues are difficult in any workplace — but when the underperformer is a family member, the stakes and sensitivities are significantly higher.
In this insightful session, Sam Johnson will explore the legal, personal, and operational challenges that arise when addressing performance concerns in a family business. Drawing on real-world experience, Sam will unpack how to navigate blurred boundaries, emotional ties, and conflicting expectations — all while staying compliant with legal obligations and avoiding unnecessary disputes.
Whether you're currently facing a tricky situation or want to prepare for future challenges, this session will offer practical guidance, legal insight, and the confidence to address performance issues with clarity and care in a family business environment.
We look forward to seeing you there and joining in on this interesting conversation.
