Gummy’s background spans working with prominent listed multinationals abroad to more recent work in the local mid-market corporate advisory and transactions sphere.

Holding a CPA and Executive MBA from Melbourne Business School, Gummy boasts a stellar track record of propelling business growth. Collaborating closely with clients, he specialises in devising  and executing practical business strategies, focusing on areas such as capital raisings, M&A, performance enhancement, corporate leadership, financial and management accounting, cost-efficiency programs, and systems implementation. Gummy's proficiency extends across diverse sectors, encompassing manufacturing, construction, logistics, technology, food, retail and education & training.

Gummy's extensive network of business and high-net-wealth contacts, combined with his knack for identifying and capitalising on business development and growth opportunities, consistently delivers value to clients and investors in the SME sector. With a history of success in leadership roles across private wealth and not-for-profit sectors, Gummy brings a breadth of experience and innovation to enterprises of all sizes and industries.

Stephen is a partner in the Corporate Advisory/M&A team at Danaher Moulton and serves as Chairman of the firm. With over 30 years of experience as a leading corporate and commercial lawyer, he has been recognised by Doyles Guide as a leading commercial lawyer. Before joining Danaher Moulton in 2019, Stephen was Managing Partner and then Chairman at Mills Oakley for 14 years, a partner in the Tax and Legal line of service at PwC, a corporate advisory/M&A partner at Clayton Utz, and Gadens.

Stephen's other roles include being a former Director at Carlton Football Club (2006-2012), a director at the O’Brien Foundation (since 2000) and its Chair (since 2017), a director at SugarByHalf and Defeat Diabetes Pty Ltd, and a Non-Executive Director at Silk Logistics Holdings Ltd until August 2025.
