Meet the Russell family, feel at home at their luxury rooftop bar, learn about their current succession plan, and how they have built a group of family businesses offering a range of construction services.
The Russell Group comprises five businesses, including Stresscrete, established in the 1930s, which is New Zealand's largest and most experienced manufacturer of precast/prestressed concrete components. Acrow, founded in the 1960's, is the largest scaffolding, formwork, falsework and event infrastructure company in New Zealand. In 1965, Russell Gordan Contracting was established, specialising in blocklaying, bricklaying, concrete placing and pumping, concrete cutting & drilling, paving, excavations, and masonry homes. Dominon Constructions was established in 1973 as a commercial and civil construction business. Finally, in 2012, Russell Property Group was formed as an Auckland property ownership, development, investment and management business.
